The Liberty Live Church School of Ministry exists to develop world class servant leaders who are actively involved in changing lives, communities, and the world for Jesus Christ.

What is School of Ministry?

The School of Ministry program prepares ministry leaders of tomorrow with a comprehensive and hands-on experience of ministry. Our goal is to encourage and equip those who feel called to ministry work as they learn and grow as servant leaders at Liberty Live Church. We develop ministry leaders through our 3 learning areas: ministry experience, 1-on-1 coaching, and cohort sessions.

3 Learning Areas

MINISTRY EXPERIENCE

The School of Ministry provides on-the-job ministry experience at a multisite, multigenerational, and multiethnic growing church. Residents are actively involved in all facets of the ministry, including meetings, planning, responsibility, leading people, and more. The goal is to get a comprehensive, well-rounded experience of the ministry environment.

1-ON-1 COACHING

Students will be paired with a ministry and campus, bearing in mind their interests and the church’s needs. A director or leader in that ministry or campus will be paired as their School of Ministry coach. Coaching goes hand in hand with ministry experience as the coach will guide students through day-to-day ministry, while setting and working toward personal, professional, and spiritual goals for the student.

COHORT SESSIONS

Every other week, students will meet for a time of teaching/learning and discussion with other residents. Cohort topics vary, will include guest speakers, and are designed to grow residents personally and professionally as a ministry leader. Cohorts are not meant to replace/compete with formal education, but to complement it.

Courses

School of Ministry Courses are open to anyone who attends Liberty Live Church. They are semester-long courses on a particular subject with the goal of knowing God, learning a subject matter, and maturing in the Lord. We offer both online and in-person courses, as well as our very own courses taught by our own staff and pastors.
